This is for Mr. I just discovered the caps lock button. Eminem is, for lack of better words, “a little bitch”.
To have the audacity to say some of the things he does in his songs and take little responsibility for his actions is childish.
When people become upset or offended by his awful music, Eminem replies with the childish statement of “I'm just spouting off what's on my mind” or “I'm not serious about it” or “Fag doesn't mean gay it just means fag…. You know.”
To me that sounds like Einem realized that he whored himself out for the money and did something wrong but he must refuse to either recognize that what they did is wrong, or try to down play what he did after the fact.
This is like when a child breaks something valuable. When you try to talk to the child they will say something like “I didn't mean it” instead of recognizing that they didn't use good judgment when deciding to do whatever they did.
Another similar example could be a skinny kid at a bar mouthing off and picking fights. When someone finally accepts the challenge the skinny kid is immediately humbled and says something like “I was only kidding.”
Here's a crazy recommendation for Eminem, how about you don't do it from now on if you can't take responsibility for your initial action?
The sad truth is Eminem has the MTV seal of approval. With the airtime MTV throws his way were all stuck with his crap. Music is no longer chosen by the people it is handed down to us by MTV and we all just accept it.
The truth is Eminem cannot only sell his music to impressionable teens and young adults, but he can also sell a whole genre of crap. White kids from the suburbs can now buy due rags and justify it now. So now Da-Da is interested in investing in some commercial time on MTV between Eminem videos. Do you see how this is playing out?
Eminem isn't a good musician but he brings in good business so he's forced on us. The only thing that keeps him afloat is that angry young white kids like Mr. Caps Lock recognizes with some of the awful things he spouts about.
Sure we're all angry and we all feel like we have it worse, but the truth is, that's life. You only recognize the trials and tribulations you face. I assure you if your biggest problem is that kids in the freestyle club make fun of you because your white, even though you truly have appreciation for hip-hop culture and music, you have it pretty good.

To ars123, Eminem's music is SUPPOSED to offend people. He tells the truths nobody wants to hear. Don't get me wrong; at first I couldn't stand him, but then I realized that the anger and violence in his music was no different than Artemisia Gentileschi's "Judith Slaying Holofernes". Besides, I much prefer hearing about the hardships of life and a bunch of so-ridiculous-it's-funny stuff, than pimps, bitches, and hos like most rap music is about.
