Most of the physics comments don't apply considering it's supposedly a computer generated world and all of neo's abilities involve bending and breaking the rules of that world... Just like hacking a video game.
Also, this whole thing was written primarily by a Liberal. I see a number of generalisations about short-lived fads and occassional delusions. Problems with kids are because the parents don't work at raising them, not because they see something in a movie. What ever happened to teaching kids the difference between fantasy and reality?
Also, the prop comments are completely inaccurate due to the fact that the referenced items are THEATRICAL PROPS... obviously the person who wrote this suffers from above problem. No boundary between fantasy and reality. The jello specifically was just a goo to maintain the bodies in a state of sensory deprivation. Nourishment was probably provided by that long tube down their throat. Also, if 'Neo' had never used his muscles before... how could he support himself in that tank or pull out the tube? How could he even move then if he couldn't later? Aren't you going to attack that next?
I'm of the opinion the first one was good. Keanu Reeves was in his element of not knowing wtf was going on. The sequels sucked. That's all that needs to be said.
By the way, if this was written by the jackass standing in front of the screen when i went to see the first one, I'm going to apologize to readers for missing their fat head!

To the guy who wrote this, I came here thinking this would be a fun article as I hate the matric series & all it's hardcore fans, but you are a douchebag. Many of your points are opinionated, & uninformed. I'd correct you on some of your points but it would simply be a waste of time considering your ignorant feeble mind. Now go & run off & act all cool with the rest of your cynical loser buddies while you jack off to binary code or whatever you freaks get up to. & For a guy who hates the matrix movies so much you sure have gone to watch them an awful lot

It's just a movie chill the fuck out id have kicked you out to the curb myself if i had been in the same theater as you when you got up to "yell at the audience" in fact, after i was done with you, there would be nothing left for the theater staff to throw out. do us all a favor.... no more looong drawn out "reviews" of movies, stop watching movies, get rid of your internet access, go down to the local gun shop and purchase a large gun with one bullet... you know what to do with it.

this is to all u fuckers who thought this was a "piece of shit". just because your to lazy to express a personal opion, all day i bet u sit at home looking through sites paying out articles like this.... well get over your self, just because u can string together some big words into a sentence doesnt mean that your tough.
i liked the fisrt matrix and after reading this i realised that there was alot wrong with it and if u cant see what is you deserve to be where you are now; covered in pizza greece, fat and knocking down a few large bottle of coke!
